Printer must have a mind of it's own...

Probably due to a defective driver, drivers should be updated regularly
from the hardware manufacturer's website (Ask parents if they have a
patch or hotfix available). If that doesn't work there may be a hardware
fault. This could be related to memory (Where did you leave the keys?)
or to an error with the video system (You lost your contacts and can't
find the car?). Might also be due to the power source (Is the battery dead?)

It might also be related to peripheral devices such as the local gas
station (Is there gas in it?) or some mismatch between the peripheral
and the hardware (Did you use the diesel pump by mistake?).

Also you should check for malware, has someone installed GM parts of a
Ford for example, sometimes this works for a while then breaks
something. You may have been infected by a trojan horse, if there's a
horse in the car you probably can't get in the drivers seat right?
Somewhat like a trojan horse is called a "Worm". This type of malware
can crawl up the tail pipe and into the muffler, completely plugging it.

Please post back and let us know if any of this helps

It helped me, that's for sure.

You should write manuals for real situations: the clarity of the above
beats most manuals & help files I've used. No smiley here: I am serious.

My own theory on the inability to start the vehicle is bad carma.
