windows cant configurate KB974431

i´ve install it a few time and after the restart it start the
´´configuration thing´´ and it never gets to the end, forcing the system to
retrieve the already installed files, and restarting again.

using intel dualcore 1.9hrz laptop
windows ultimate 7 32bits version
1giga ram
