Answers:
The problem I am having now (as explained above) is recent. I have had Vista
since last summer, and I did not have the above problems until a few weeks
ago, or less.
I had already set up parental controls, and it was working perfectly. Now I
can't pull it up at all; the same goes for many other similar operations, as
well as for downloads I would like to run now.
I am not trying to search on a web site when this happens.
Do I have to fix something in the 'environment' (?), etc.
