Window's connections problems to wireless.

i have a belkin54G router
windows vista home basic.(medion make)

connects to the Internet now and again
not full signal even when i'm right next to the router


i get the message "the capability of your network adapter does not muc
the requirements of this network"

I know it's not the wireless it won't fine with my
old XP computer
