Windows Critical Updates on a network

I'm trying to find out information on whether or not it is
possible to do a inclusive Critical Update check and
installation on a network that does not have all the same
o/s working on it. There is 3.1, NT, 95, 98SE, 2K,
etc... Is it possible to go to the server and do an C.U.
for all stations, or would I have to go to each station
and do an individual update?
