Windows Defender and LastAccess time stamps issue fix

Hi

I know, that Windows Defender updates LastAccess time stamps fo
scanned files

No well written scanning program does that,( e.g. Avast AV )
because it is not access that counts

There was recently published fix 'An update is available for th
Microsoft Malware Protection Engine to control updates to the las
access time stamp on scanned files

MS did NOT put info down ( because of being MS ), but references t
phone customer support

Does have anybody that info available to avoid calling
