Recently, Windows did not start on switching on the pc.

An option appeared telling me that Windows failed to start, and
offered to investigate and repair.

The programme looked for errors, repaired, and re-started the machine.

The pc now works.

My question is :Is there a way that I can find out what was wrong, and
what the programme did to repair the software?

Thanks
