Windows don't update

I've seen all the others and they all failed. the only thing i see deffernt
is no HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows

I went to http://petroons.dyndns.org/blog/?p=52 and download the regfile.
doubled click it installed rebooted now all fixed
