Hi All

Can anyone help me with the following:

I am trying to use Windows DVD Maker. As soon as I open it up, the screen
goes pale and I receive a message from DEP saying that it has automatically
closed the program. When I click on further information, the following
message is generated:

BEX
Application Name: DVDMaker.exe
Application Version: 6.0.6000.16386
Application Timestamp: 4549b5b0
Fault Module Name: StackHash_ee98
Fault Module Version: 0.0.0.0
Fault Module Timestamp: 00000000
Exception Offset: 02687d68
Exception Code: c0000005
Exception Data: 00000008
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3
Locale ID: 1033
Additional Information 1: ee98
Additional Information 2: 46fb97020e99fd54128545b4df82441f
Additional Information 3: ee9e
Additional Information 4: b93c1e2afffd48c9c948a7a32f1ebf49

Thank you for everyone's help in advance.

a registry file can be created to allow a DEP exception to, for example,
'test.exe'
------------DVD exception.reg-------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows
NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers]
"C:\\Test\\test.exe"="DisableNXShowUI"
-------------end file-------

("C:\\Test\\test.exe" is the file and its location.)

Did you Check for Solutions using the Problem Reports and Solutions Center
control panel? I'm wondering if that had anything to say. Plus it might
give you a bucket ID, which can be useful data.
