windows error message not seen before

I am trying to install "winTV" but every time I try to run the setup I get
this windows error message
"tool for creating autoplay CD and DVD discs has stopped working"
and then the program closes and I can't get any further.
The program is compatible with vista, I'm using the most up to date version.
I can't find a record of this error anywhere, please can anyone help???
(it installs on my laptop with XP no problem)

I also am trying to install WinTV for Vista Home Premium. I DL the file
mentioned in an earlier post - but after cleaning up ALL Hauppauge files and
choosing SETUP from the DL files - I STILL get the same message - even though
I am NOT using AUTOPLAY just set up- any ideas???
