windows event log service does not start

When starting windows event log service the a message comes up,
Windows could not start the Windows Event Log service on Local Computer,
error 2. cannot find the file specified

please let me know any solution...

Looking on the web I found the solution, look in the registry to th
following key

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlo

an delete the "Parameters" key

(Do not forget to backup your registry before make any operation on i
