Windows Explorer - Class Not Registered

Cannot add a folder to a Desktop Folder because Desktop is marked "Read
Only." Attempting to clear the "Read Only" check box in the properties sheet
results in "Class Not Registered" error message. So, no way to add more
folders to folders in the Desktop folder.
