Windows Explorer crashes when performing file operations

When I try to move any files or copy files or do anything other than browse
folders in Windows Explorer, it tells me "Windows Explorer has stopped
working", and restarts. What can I do to fix this?

i'm having similar problems; only when searching my drives.
