Hi,

I'm betting that you installed a codec package recently that included
xvid.dll, the module indictated in your error message. Likely it is that
this is the cause of your issues. Many of these prepackaged codec
distributions are known to cause and create issues with both explorer and
the media player and should not be used. Codecs to support media types
should be obtained independently directly from the manufacturer or
distributor.
