Windows Explorer crashes

This problem cropped up a couple years ago on this forum. I will provide
the original post because he puts it perfectly:

Also, when somebody mistakenly presented him with an I/E fix, he
replied:

Sorry for all the re-cap, but I couldn't put it better. I've searched
and searched, but nobody has presented a real solution to this problem.
It occoured after an update on either the night of the 2nd or sometime
on the 3rd of this month and a recovery point did nothing to fix the
problem.

OH you're everywhere. Thats pleasant....in an aggrivating way.

I have found a work-around that will suffice, but would rather simpl
have my computer functioning properly

get vista manager its a program it can fix windows if its playing up I mean
it will cheek to see if any windows files and that are missing or messd up
and fix it .
