Windows Explorer does not refresh its screen automatically

I experience annoyingly often, that when working with files and folders in
Windows Vista Business Built6000 the
Explorer does not refresh its window contents w/o my pressing F5. Even
"create new folder" request or moving files makes nothing with the file list,
resorting
the files does not help either - just F5.
Annoying!!! Frustrating!!!

Any advice appreciated,

Run a disk check on your drive.

1. Select 'Start'. Click 'Computer'.
2. Right-Click 'Local Disk (C'. Select 'Properties'.
3. 'Tools' Tab. Error-checking 'Check now'.
4. Check both 'Automatically fix file system errors' & 'Scan for and
attempt recovery of bad sectors.'
5. The disk check will begin after you reboot your computer.
