Hi,
Explorer acts like that when there is a conflicting application. Whether
it's spy/adware, an incompatible program, or interfering software is what
you need to determine. Sometimes the problem lies in certain antivirus
applications as well. Try this: Click start and type msconfig, then hit
<enter>. On the general tab, choose diagnostic mode, then click apply/ok and
reboot. See it the problem continues. If it doesn't (and I don't suspect it
will), move to selective startup mode and just allow a few of the
applications to load in between reboots until the problem returns. Once it
does, you know it is one of the newly reactivated ones.
