Windows Explorer Favorite Links

Lately the favorites links section in Windows Explorer says (Empty) and no
longer has the usual items in there. There used to be Network, Desktop, and
other places.

How can I get this behavior back?

On the Left pane, bottom, theres a drive list, on the top theres a box that
says Favorites, and below that it says (empty).

It has nothing to do with IE Favorites. Never did.

What was in there was Recent Locations, My Documents, Network, etc...
