My problem is after I start up my laptop (compaq presario) I can open files
and everything acts normal. But after they have been open for about 20 mins
they are slow to respond or dont respond at all. I dont have anything loaded
on my computer other than factory stuff and macafee security. I have an
external hard drive that I keep all my videos, pictures and music on.

If I close a window/folder and try to reopen it it comes up blank, nothing
appears in it.

The recycle bin wont delete either when all of this is happening.

Any help?

Please?
