I was working on my uncle's machine yesterday and noticed he had
a black background. Tried setting it and nothing happened. I
started task manager and started killing all the garbage
running. When I killed windows explorer the background I had
set showed up. When I ran explorer again the background goes
black again. This is repeatable after reboot. It appears to be
per user, because I created a new user and it doesn't have this
problem.

He would just as soon tolerate the problem, but I'd really like
to know what it could be. If it is a setting, where is it at?

Any ideas?

If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy all that Acme crap,
why didn't he just buy dinner?
