Windows Explorer refuses to save window settings

Since I updated my Vista Ultimate laptop to SP1, Windows Explorer no
longer saves its position or dimensions when I close it.

I don't want to reset +everything+, I just want it to remember the size
and position of the window.

Well to do that you will have to reset them. Then set them the way you want.
