Windows Explorer shuts down if Ctrl+c or Ctrl+v are pressed

I have a strange problem with my XP Pro running with SP1 and the recommended
patches and updates except SP2.

When I'm using Windows Explorer to copy or paste files the action results in
that Windows Explorer is closed while all other running applications stays
the same.

Similarly when I try to right mouse click on any file I get the same result.

Copy and pasting texts withing applications doesn't result in such error, it
only occurs when: Copying/Pasting/Deleting/Right-Mouse-Clicking.

Also when I tried to delete some files from within the explorer of
Nero-CD-Burning utility, the process was successfull without having any
application window being closed.

My computer is very clean from any viruses or trojans because I update daily
my Norton & Kaspersky AntiViruses.

Any solution for this problem?

Since nobody replied back with a solution, I tried installing SP2 and it
solved the problem completely.
