I would like to set My computer/WinExplorer to open up in Medium icon
view by using a registry edit or group policy. I know how to change it
manually but this needs to be done for hundreds of machines. The Tile
view gives size of drive and how much is free for network shares and we
don't want the users to see this. Any ideas.

I am not sure, but can`t you export the edited registry key and import it on
the other computers?

I know I wasn't clear enough. Let me clarify, I know how to change it
manually from inside explorer. I do not know what registry key to edit
or what policy to apply. Or if this can be done at all.
