Hi, Dave.
I see that Adobe has just ("Last updated:2010-07-02") updated their
TechNote, but NOT their Flash Player. :>(
Flash Player support on 64-bit operating systems
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html
The key line STILL says, "To use Flash Player with any major browser on
64-bit Windows, use the 32-bit version of the browser." It also says,
"Adobe is actively working on the release of a 64-bit native Flash
Player...", but they've been saying that for YEARS, so don't hold your
breath.
I've not tried to use Flash with games or gadgets, except on websites. On
the web, including YouTube, PBS Kids (for my grandson), MSNBC, etc., I have
to run the 32-bit version of IE8. When I get the offer to "update Flash", I
remember that I'm running 64-bit IE and no matter how many times I say
"Yes", it will soon be offering - again - to "update Flash" for me. So, I
highlight the URL in the Address Bar, Copy it, then start 32-bit IE8, Paste
in the URL and press Enter. I can do it almost as quickly as I can type
that. Then the Flash runs in 32-bit IE.

When I try and play a game it wants to install adobe flash player and I say
ok even though I have v10.1 installed already. Each time I click on a game
gadget I get the flasher player to download.
