Windows Genuine Advantage Error Log keeps reappearing in Temp

Hello:

After installing yesterday's WU of Windows Genuine Advantage Notification
KB905474, I keep getting a file in my Temp folder titled:

WGAErrLog.

It keeps reappearing at reboot after deletion.

I receive no notifications regarding Windows Validation

When I run the Microsoft online validation tool, it validates without
problem


That WGAErrLog contains the following :

What is the meaning of this Temp file and what is causing its persistent
reappearance?

It is a temporary file in a directory specifically intended for temporary
files. It can be ignored.

properties. Was just wondering if that indicated a problem in the

On reboot it appears that Windows is validating your copy of Windows? who
know's what Microsoft is doing with Windows/Microsoft Update

I've been wondering the same thing. Hence went looking for some info on
this. Have a file called WGANotify.settings in temp as well. Although I
realize that it is in the temp directory and can be ignored, I still have to
question why it is appearing as an "error"
