I did all that on my XP SP2 machine and I still get the failure... Like the
original writer, I've tried the install at least 5 times to no avail. I ran
the malicious software removal tool today after getting the latest version
via the webpage, and it detected none of the "malice" in the list. I'm
running MS Anti-spyware, Norton IS 2005 updated 9/26, Firewalls, WinTask Pro
5 (absolutely marvelous tool for stopping many malware processes DEAD!)
Ad-aware SE 1.06 updated today is running and found a mere 88 problem files!
along with 12 registry keys. ZERO Processes identifed and ZERO Modules
identified with infections.
Can you assist with the install of the "Genuine" Tool, PLEASE?
MANY THANKS IN ADVANCE.
