Windows Genuine Advantage Notification

Hello,

I just have a question to ask about the WGA update. I have actually
installed it and was told that my Windows Copy is Genuine and I have all
reason to believe that right? Because since installing it I haven't had my
computer repaired(I read that computer repair persons can be dishonest and
use the Product Key to install Windows on other persons computer.). Anyways,
getting to what I'm saying, after installing WGA I was told my Windows was
genuine but the description that came with the installation really didn't do
enough explanation to me so I can know what I have on my computer to
encourage my friends to get it. But after reading, I saw a few persons say
that it's just wasting space if you KNOW that your windows is Genuine.

My question is, how can I stop Automatic Updates from showing me that I need
to install this update instead of having it pop up from my system tray only
to have me cancel it? Is there a way?

PS: I was telling a friend he should get it(this was after I installed and
deleted it) so he can validate his Windows and make sure it's Genuine. He
told me it isn't so..Yeah..
