Hi

Windows Vista Business SP1
When I launch Windows Help and Support, it says I've "lost my connection to
the Windows Help and Support website. Try to connect again."

"Try to connect again" is an active link, but when I click it nothing
happens. I have a constant internect connection so I don't know why Help and
Support won't connect. I am not receiving any other error message.

In my Help settings - the option to include Online Help is selected. I am
using IE7 with all updates.

Laurie,
Please try this.
Open IE7 and go to tools
check
work offline
and then uncheck it
and close IE7
then try the help.

I think this might be a bug.

No go. Good idea though. I tried as suggested and also tried selecting Work
Offline, closing IE7, then reopening IE7 before clearing check mark. But
still Help will not connect.

I do have support.microsoft.com added to my Trusted Sites. Perhaps this is
the incorrect address??

Hmm.
I think the correct address for it is
windowshelp.microsoft.com
at least that is what it opens when I just checked mine now.

But just having default setting for the Internet would not need
it to be trusted.
(I have 0 trusted sites and mine is working but I also
have IE still on default setting for Internet)
If you don't have default setting in IE for the Internet than
that could be the prob.
I hope that is it for ya.

No, but I just d/l AdAware and did a full scan. found some spyware and
removed it. Seems to have fixed the problem.

Thanks for your help!

Laurie
