having problem accessing certain progams am recievivg an error message that
reads WindSAPI .DLL i am running windows XP home edition service pack 1. can
anybody help me with this problem? or explain to me how to fix this?.

I am sorry you are hitting this issue. I need a little more information.
WHat is the exact error you receive when accessing certain programs.

Example: When I open Internet Explorer, a popup appears that says:
iexplore.exe encountered a problem and needs to close. Error 0x8024004c.
