I too am having the same problem, but we are runnning a domain (in mixed
mode) with about 100 computers , and everything works fine, until we upgrade
a computer to sp2, or put a sp2 machine that was previously working fine to
the domain. MSI stops working, and all the network connections disappear.
The same problems happen when we upgrade a server to 2003 sp1.
I have tried all the kb articles on how to restore the missing network
connections to no avail.
Does anyone know what is going on with my domain that can cause this to
happen??
I checked out my default domain group policy and do not see anything
limiting the MSI installer or the network connections.
thanks,
Chris
