WINDOWS INSTALLER - Windows XP Pro

Trying to install i-tunes and keep getting a 1601 error - windows installer
not properly installed or functioning in safe mode etc etc.

Any word of wisdom?

With been a new user I dont know how to get 64 mb of ram and 900 mb of
available hard disc space for the insallation of windows xp service pact two
