Windows KB891711

Hello, HELP! I am a novice. Please explain everything in layman terms! I
installed KB891711 on 3-23-2005. It was MODIFIED ON 4-14-2005. I cannot use
the maintainence wizard. The scan disk just keeps restarting...but did
finally finish..the defrag. won't get past 3%. I did a Dr. Watson check. It
says, "windows KB891711 component has altered Windows System files. Module
KB891711.EXE Componet Version 4.10.2223 .. I did a search of files and
folders and found the above mentioned dates...plus a thing that looks like
gears in a box: Q891711.DLL modified on 3-18-2005...My system restore was
shut off, Dr. Watson told me so...so I can't restore to an earlier time...My
computer is starting to run much slower...Please help!
