Windows Live (and Messenger) suddenly stopped working

Since yesterday my Windows Live stopped working without any particular reason
(no updates, no applications installed, nothing out of the ordinary). It
doesn't open unless I trick the system by turning off the cable modem and
open the application. Once I retsore the Intrenet service and try to log in,
it just hangs. I tried reparing the Windows Live installation and later tried
to revert back to Messenger 7.5 (I updated more than 2 months ago). With
Messenger 7.5 the applications starts but as soon as it tries to connect, it
just hangs. If I open the Task Manager, it shows two intances of Messenger
running although in the process window I can only see one. The log visor show
the following message everytime (sorry some of the messages are in spanish):
