Windows Live Calendar

I went to http://calendar.live.com and imported some .ics files into my
Windows Live Calendar from my old Windows Calendar from VISTA using the
"Subscribe" feature. Everything seemed to work fine. However, when I then
opened my Windows Live Mail program, everything there worked fine, EXCEPT
when I clicked to open the Calendar portion, the entire program crashes.
Does it everytime. What's going on and how can I fix it.

Are the imported calendars viewable at calendar.live.com and the data intact ?

Are you using the same Live ID(that was used at calendar.live.com) to sign on to Windows Live in Windows Live Mail(WLM) ?

Yes, my logins are the same. And yes, all of my calendars are intact and
working fine at calendar.live.com. When I run Windows Live Mail, my mail
comes up just fine and I can access my Contacts as well. But I as soon as I
point and click at the Calendar Icon within Windows Live Mail, the program
instantly crashes and I get a box that says "Windows Live Mail has stopped
working".

If the calendar data and imported ics files are intact on the web server, you might try(proceed at your own risk) deleting the
Calendar for that specific Live ID.
C:\Users\<windows username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Live Mail\Calendars\

Deleting the calendar folder will cause WLM to rebuild the local by syncing with that Live ID's calendar on the web server when
that same Live ID is used to sign on to Windows Live in WLM.

If not, and you still have the ics file that was imported into the web interface, you might try deleting the shared calendar in the
web UI and test if WLM calendar opens locally without the ics import overhead.

If not resolved, you should start a support ticket with Windows Live to see if they can resolve your problem.
To contact support
Calendar.live.com
Click on the down arrow adjacted to the question mark(upper right)
Click Help to load the online help file
Click one of the topics in the left pane then click Get more help in the lower-right corner of the topic
Click Get Support (the e-form will load)

Hurray !!!!! Deleting the "Calendars" folder under "Windows LIve Mail" did
the trick. After opening Windows Live Mail and clicking on "Calendar", the
program sync'd with the on-line info and rebuilt the files. Thanks.
