Version 15.4.3835.0513 was released yesterday (probably not in all markets
yet).

The experience of WLMail is, so far, disappointing to say the least. Simple
bugs dating from last September have not been fixed
(although sort by /To/ in a Sent items folder now works), and new
ones/reduced functionality have been introduced. 'Send to > Mail
recipient' for an image file still requires the user to be signed in, and
(after a quick look) converting a photo email to a
standard one with attachment using the paperclip no longer works.
I couldn't start a new newsgroup post nor a reply to an old one in plain
text despite having that option selected at Options > Send.
More testing and, I suspect, more disappointment awaits.

Noel, I too installed the update and it doesn't do anything to help the
newsreader part which is what I need.
In your opinions what is the best news reader I can use for free? It needs
to be fairly plain and easy to use, I tried Forte but its too complicated
and is no longer free.
Thanks for any answers to help a 77 year old newsreader junkie.
Regards, Rene
