I am having a problem with installing windows live essentials. I keep getting
an error message 80190197, which it says is an unknown error. I try the
troubleshooting steps but they have not worked, could someone please help me?

Are you having the problem on a computer at work or home?

Your proxy server setting may not be correctly set.

You didn't tell me if your computer is at home or at work.

If you're at home, you probably won't be using a proxy.

If you're at work, you should talk to you admin about the proper proxy
setting.

Proxy setting for Windows is configured through IE.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections

Click LAN settings button
