Assuming you are using http and not the pop3 protocol for each of the multiple Hotmail accounts, are all the folders(viewable in
the web interface) present in each respective Hotmail account in WLM ?
- to determine if your account is using the http protocol in WLM rt. click on any account in the left hand pane, select
Properties, then click on the Server tab. Copy the server being used and include in a reply to this message.
If your incoming server is pop3(pop3.live.com) then you are using the pop3 protocol. When using pop3 only contents of the Hotmail
web interface Inbox are downloaded when performing a sync between WLM and the Hotmail server.
Additional questions if using the Http protocol(not Pop3)
- were these Hotmail accounts migrated into WLM from Outlook Express? If so, were they using WebDAV(http protocol discontinued
effective Sept 1, 2009) ?
- if you create a new folder in the web interface, does that folder appear locally after sync ? If so, have you tried copying
messages from the older folders, syncing, then see if the messages appear ?
