Windows live mail is not working on Win 7

After installing it without any errors I click on the Windows Live Mail icon,
it says "Please wait untill Windows configures Live Mail" and that's it.
Nothing more. The message' gone!

Event Viewer (Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer) might give some indication of the problem. It could be due to lack of permissions.

I have windows 7 and windows live mail is working for me. I would uninstall
the program and try and install it again.
