Greetings,
It's just a feature you have to turn on. To do so, click the Tools menu (or press Alt-T if
the menu is hidden), then Options then uncheck 'Show "contact says:" before every message'
and click OK.
If you're using the 8.1 beta, instead of that option, you'll want to turn on the 'Group
sequential messages from each contact together' option.
