I have downloaded windows live messenger beta and my bf has the same kind. I
want to have this one thing that i dont have.
When a contact says more then one thing to him the second or third (or more)
messages just go underneath what the last thing he said unless i said
something back.. here is an example
ALex says:
Hey there
How are you?
Stacey says:
Im fine
What's new?

that is what it looks like on his and this is what mine would be if the same
conversation happened
ALex says:
Hey there
Alex says:
How are you?
Stacey says:
im fine
Stacey says:
Whats new?

How can i make my messages appear the as the first example?

Greetings,

It's just a feature you have to turn on. To do so, click the Tools menu (or press Alt-T if
the menu is hidden), then Options then uncheck 'Show "contact says:" before every message'
and click OK.

If you're using the 8.1 beta, instead of that option, you'll want to turn on the 'Group
sequential messages from each contact together' option.
