windows live messeger contacts

Alright.... so I FINALLY got windows live messenger.. YAY FOR ME!!!
......but....now my contacts don't show up when they are online... Sheesh..
So what do I do....? Please help me Thanks.

Hello,

Clear (delete) your contacts cache. This is located at:

<drive>:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger\

If you cannot see the "Local Settings" folder, un-hide hidden folders in
Tools->Folder Options.
