Err... no, that isn't why they call it a beta.

It's called a beta because that's the nomenclature given to software that is
in the debugging phase. Not that D@nnyBoy's post really needed a reply,
but, if it did, it'd be something more along the lines of 'Yes, because
'beta' software is not always stable.'

It's called a beta cause not all issues have been worked out, there are
still bugs that beta testers are finding, and are being fixed as we speak.

Then how come 7.5 isn't still a beta then?
