Windows Live Messenger 8.1 Sign in page

My windows live messenger 8.1 sign in page doesn't have my display picture on
it. My boyfriends does and my dads does. Why is that and is there anyway to
fix it? I have Windows Live Messenger 8.1 Build 8.1.0178.00. Please help,

CoolOrangeKitty, Try a repair - First go to start -control panel -Add/Remove
- Windows Live Messenger - Click on repair, and see if that works. Post back
your results. You might have to re-boot first to see results.

Greetings,

Make sure you click "Remember me" before you sign in as yourself for it to remember your
display picture on the sign in page.

K, Repair didn't work and I do have "Remember me" checked. What else can you
all do to help?

personal > check off show my display picture.

Cool, lets try something else : Down pointing arrow next to your name and
click on change display picture and see if you can put a different picture on
for now. and make sure box is not checked off (don't show a picture)

Ok, that really didn't help. I can change my picture just fine. That's not
the problem. Still doesn't show up on the sign in page. What is wrong with my
stupid WLM?!

I got it fixed finally. A WLM support rep e-mailed me finally with the
correct way to fix this problem. I can forward the e-mail they sent to anyone
who wants it, just let me know. Thanks for trying to help me.

Can you post the e-mail here (scrub any personally identifiable information
first, if there is any).
