Alright before I get into this I deleted my messenger service because of
questionable things that were happening to my computer and the fact that it
was impossible to login with my password. Here is how it started; tried to
login into messenger got the error code 81000314; proceeded to troubleshoot
the problem, was unable to come up with a definate reason it was occuring.
Went back and tried to log in once again and realized that my password had
gained 2 more characters, so I went through the 'Forgot my password' process
and got nowhere, tried to login as not being remembered, still didn't work.
Disconnected my internet access and began finding the issue, while in the
middle of a ad-aware scan Norton popped up Trojan Zlob deleted it however
having previous experience I deleted it myself...So I ask what happened here,
was I hacked?

Greetings,

If you would like to know if you were hacked, check your firewall incoming
connection logs.

Greetings,

Do you have a router installed? If so, this connection log will be in your
router configuration.

No, I currently float around the DMZ so I can get these type of things to
work on deleting and figuring out the issue.

Here is the Event for the occurence, don't know if it's much help but this is
all I could find

The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Windows Live Messenger )
cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry
information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer.
You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see
Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event:
msnmsgr.exe, 8.0.812.0, 44cc1896, msnmsgr.exe, 8.0.812.0, 44cc1896, 0,
00142306.

Thanks for your help again Jonathon, www.passport.net for anyone experiencing
similar issues...log in there and change your password first off then send in
a e-mail to support about the issue
