Windows Live Messenger and Parental Controls in Windows Vista

On Windows Vista, I have installed Windows Live Messenger 8.0 from the link
on the start menu, and enabled parental controls on a test account, logged
onto Messenger and chatted for a while, I went back to the admin account to
check what had been recorded but there was nothing there. Do the parental
controls in Vista not support Windows Live Messenger? Is this something being
fixed in version 8.1?
