Lately i've been having problems with Windows Live Messenger; whenever I talk
to a specific person on my contacts list, my computer screen will go black,
and windows will shut down. It won't do this if i talk to them, but if they
talk back it will. this only happens when i talk to this person, and when i
get the computer back on, a window pops up telling me that windows XP has
just recovered from a serious error. I've tried everything I can think of
doing on my own to fix the problem, such as trying to use the repair function
on windows live messenger, virus/spyware scanning, even turning off un-needed
functions through msconfiq in order to free up RAM, but so far, nothing
works. I can talk to them without any problems on older versions of Windows
Messenger, but not on Windows Live Messenger. I realize that my problem is a
very specific one, but if at all possible I would like to fix this. If
someone could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
