I have installed Windows Live Messenger on Vista Ultimate 64bit. it ran
perfectly the first time, but when i restart or shutdown the computer and
turn it back on, Windows Live Messenger shows Windows Live Messenger has
stopped Working box... i tried to uninstall it and reinstall it... nothing
works.... even deleted the registry after uninstall but it still won't
work... does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Roy
I experienced the same problem except I think I am running Ultimate in 32
bit. How do I tell if that is true. I don't have a fix yet.
Help!!

MIchael, you can see if you are running 64bit ver. or 32bit ver. by right
clicking computer and going into properties, or Control Panel > System and
Maintenance > System | and under System Type, (under the Memory (RAM) info)
it should say either 64-bit Operating System or 32-bit Operating System.

Hi Michael, If you want to know which system you are running, open the
cintrol panel, system maintenance, system, It will tell you all you want to
know about your operating system and memory

I hope this was helpful for you, Skyzyk

:sarc: way to get off-topic guys... i'm having this same problem an
would prefer a solution to it rather than talk about how to see wha
version of windows we are running. For the record, I am running Vist
Ultimate 6
