Hi Jonathan,
First of all, thanks: it's good that finally someone is taking care of my
problems (I even tweeted you days before
I have to admit one thing, thought: that "last friday" was referring to the
original date of the message that I sent to the Microsoft Tech Support that I
copied and pasted here. So now it translates on "some of weeks ago" (I
noticed the problem on January 22 if I remember correctly). Unfortunately I
haven't a system restore point this far, only starting from January 25. I
have nothing installed but Windows Live Messenger and, now, MSN Plus but I
can assure you I have uninstalled this and that many times, and the problem
definitely occures even with a fresh installation of Windows Live Messenger.
The only thing I installed on Jan 22 was Skype (since I couldn't manage to
get a video conference working with WLM), but I even tried uninstalling it
and it didn't fix anything. Moreover, I created a new account on my PC just
to test the thing. Guess what? Crashes with this account too.
Please, I'd really love to use my regular WLM.
