Windows Live Messenger crashing everytime

Hello.
I've had MSN Live Messenger before and it used to work fine.
Now both beta and the released version crash everytime I try to open them
(won't even open, just give the message)
I've tried to install and reinstall.

Error:
Windows live messenger has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are
for the inconveience.

I wanted to post the error report here but it won't let me copy-paste it.
(actually it won't let me select the text)

Greetings,

As a little test before we start trying to delete anything, try making another Windows user
account, logging into that account and trying Messenger there.

That will tell us if it's a system problem or just something within your normal user account,
in which case fixing it probably won't be too painful.

Hello.
I've created a new account, logged into it and tried to open Messenger.
Same thing, won't open, giving an option to report the error.

I was having the same problem. I found, through the event logs, that the
error was occuring in nzdd.dll, which is from Realdownload. I uninstalled
Realdownload and reinstalled WLM and now it's working fine. Notsure if this
is the same problem everyone else is having, but hopefully it hopes some of
you.

Nope, re installing MSN didn't work, done it plenty of times with more than
one version.

Glad to know (don't take this negatively) that I'm not the only one
experiencing the problem. It even came to the point that I reinstalled my
whole operating system but it still didn't work on that very same computer.
It does on my other however.

I wonder what's going on. Yeah, WLM doesn't show at all either. And Windows
Live Mail crashes (maybe because it tries to connect to WLM service, I dunno)
but my Office Communicator is also broken
