Windows Live Messenger does not reconnect automatically!

Hi,

Windows Live Messenger v.8.1.0178.00 on XP/SP2 using cable connection.
Sometimes it automatically disconnects or signs out and unlike its
predecessor it does not try to reconnect until I Press the Sign-in Button.
All the three boxes on main scren are checked. How do I make it reconnect
automatically upon disconnection?
