Windows Live Messenger (what kind of crap is this?)

What is up with this MSN LIVE and how the hell did it get on my computer.
I'm with everyone else...I'm switching to Yahoo Messenger...most of the time
Windows Messenger functions don't work anyways.

Well there's no way it could randomly have been installed by itself. Perhaps someone else
with access to your PC installed it?

Genius...nobody has access to my computer and I didn't install anything of
the sort. I'll look at the Automatic Update settings and possibly change
them so that I have control of what MS is changing on my computer. Thanks
for the BRILLIANT suggestion/comment!!!

Too boot...Windows Messenger still shows Version 4.7 and this problem was
still happening...there must have been trouble on the server yesterday, as I
was not the only affected.
